Individual Counselling

Life rarely changes one thing at a time.

A pregnancy affects a relationship. A baby changes the way time is experienced. A career transition influences family life. A loss can reshape priorities. What we experience emotionally is often connected to much more than a single event.

Who this is for

Questions that deserve attention

Many of my clients are high-functioning people who continue to manage work, family and responsibilities while quietly carrying questions that deserve attention.

Why does this stage of life feel more difficult than expected?

Why are we struggling as a couple now?

Why do I feel disconnected from myself?

How do I integrate parenthood with the rest of my identity?

How do I move forward when life no longer looks the way I imagined?

My Approach

Systemic psychology

My work is informed by systemic psychology. Rather than looking only at the individual, a systemic perspective considers the wider context in which difficulties emerge: relationships, family histories, life transitions, cultural expectations, work environments and the stories we carry about ourselves.

This perspective is particularly helpful around parenthood. Many of the challenges people experience during pregnancy, postpartum or family life are not simply individual struggles. They are often connected to changing roles, shifting expectations, new responsibilities and the way relationships reorganize over time.

"The goal is not to identify who is at fault. It is to better understand what is happening, what patterns may be repeating, and what possibilities for change exist."
